Noodles are one of the most common staple crops. China is the country of origin of noodles. Noodle consumption was from 4,000 years ago before Eastern Han period. They were made using a cereal grain called millet. Later, countries around the world started creating different variants in noodles, which were classified in accordance with the ingredients used for making them as well as the country where they were made. Primary ingredients for noodle making are wheat, buckwheat and rice before kneading together to make a dough.
